Useful traveler info

Cobán is ~215 km (4–5 h) from the capital. Semuc Champey is 2–3 more hours on a dirt road from Lanquín — worth every bump. Bring a rain shell: the chipi chipi drizzle is part of the charm. Kaq’ik is national heritage: order it.
