The Old City was the second capital of Guatemala and is a place full of history. Destroyed by the lahar from the Agua Volcano in 1541, today you can appreciate a notable colonial church and the atmosphere of a lively town. It is only 15 minutes from Antigua, making it an excellent option to combine with a visit to San Antonio Aguas Calientes.
