ARCAS — Wildlife Rescue

ARCAS is a wildlife rescue center located on the opposite shore of Lake Petén Itzá, across from Flores. Here, animals confiscated from illegal trafficking, such as parrots, monkeys, and jaguars, are rehabilitated, and a small museum and tours of the enclosures for those who cannot return to the jungle are offered.
